Shalom. I got back late Sunday night after over 15 hours of flying and losing my luggage. I have a lot of video to edit and a few solid journal entries to publish, but have managed to upload what little photos I have to the gallery. Check it out. Please be patient with updates, as I had very limited internet and computer access while in Israel.
Thanks for your prayers and support! The trip was incredible and I’m looking forward to sharing what God has and still is revealing to me through this very important part of the world, His chosen land & people. The three of us from Atlanta will also be announcing a Post-Israel Share Night in the coming days/weeks. Keep your eyes and ears open. Todah.

Good To Go

Shalom. As of today, all the financial support needed for travel to Israel is in! Actually, much more than needed has come through. As a result, other team members who were not able to raise as much will be helped. Praise for that. Many thanks to all the friends and family who very generously gave.
On July 5th, three of us from Atlanta will leave to join about 17 others in Chicago. We’ll do a meet ‘n greet, spend the night, and then head off to the Holy Land. I’ll do my best to keep this thing updated, but worst case, I may have to add a bunch of entries when I get back on July 20th.
Please be praying that God allows us to be effective servants for His name. It also couldn’t hurt to ask for safety and protection. I hope our team can provide many acts of selfless service to those who need it most, as well as provide opportunities for our personal growth.
What’s most exciting right now is having the feeling of being plucked from our comfortable American perspectives and put in potentially uncomfortable situations. I believe that one’s faith really grows when taken out of their comfort zone. There are no expectations because we are unaware of what will happen on our trip. There is only hope and faith. Now I just need to finish my pre-trip reading so I can be better equipped...
